Job Description


The "Legal Fund Management" team, based in Luxembourg, Brussels and Paris, is in charge of monitoring all legal aspects of the investment funds managed by Candriam Group and marketed in various European countries & abroad.

The fund registration process is handled by a senior person based in Luxembourg. Candriam wishes to reinforce this growing department by recruiting a second Legal Fund Manager, who will report to the Senior Manager.

The position is preferably available on a part-time basis of 80% (but may be raised up to 100% if wished by the candidate).

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Assist on and/or initiate the registration files for cross-border distribution of Candriam UCITS and AIFs,
  • Participate in the notification of funds’ changes towards related local regulators,
  • Disseminate the local legal documentation of the funds,
  • Assist on reviewing local agreements that shall be set or updated in relation with the authorization of the funds abroad,
  • Act as back-up for the senior manager, particularly on registrations abroad (EU countries, Switzerland, Korea, Singapore, Chile, Japan, etc.),
  • Additionally, provide administrative assistance with files managed by Fund Set-up & Legal life team members.

You, as a Legal Fund Manager, will work closely with all the Group's departments, in all its locations (Luxembourg, Brussels, Paris and local sales offices).


At least 5 years' experience in the financial services sector, in operational functions related to funds' life: Legal, Back/Middle Office, fund administration, RFP, etc.

You have a perfect comment of the French and English languages, both written and spoken. A third European language would be a plus.
