To support our Tax team, we are currently looking for:

Professional Support Lawyer to join our Tax Department (m/f)

In Luxembourg, our team provides practical and commercially viable advice to real estate funds, private equity funds, banks, corporates and institutional investors, among others. We advise our clients on a wide range of tax issues, from VAT and transfer pricing-related matters to international tax planning work and tax litigation, and are predominantly involved in matters regarding tax aspects of Luxembourg investments and the structuring of international transactions via Luxembourg vehicles.

Our Luxembourg tax practice offers a full range of services, including advice on both domestic and cross-border situations.

You will have to work on know-how and transactional aspects.

Skills & experience we’re looking for:

  • You hold a law degree (an LL.M. degree from an American or English university would be considered as an advantage) and you are qualified in Luxembourg or another European jurisdiction.
  • You have a minimum of five years’ experience in Tax within a law firm
  • You have excellent writing skills in French and English with a strong analytical ability.
  • You are a dynamic, flexible and proactive person, and have excellent communication skills.
  • You are fluent in both French and English. German will be an asset.
  • You have a passion for financial markets and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and client service are essential to our business and the business of our clients

 

Your main tasks in relation to the Know-How:

  • monitor and analyse legal developments relevant to the tax industry
  • support and advise lawyers with their legal research
  • coordinate the distribution of know-how materials
  • draft, update and manage transaction precedents, templates, memoranda and practice notes
  • organise and prepare technical meetings and internal training sessions
  • develop, implement and monitor know-how projects in the tax department
