Laure Mersch and Natalja Taillefer, counsels
Laure has nearly 15 years of experience in Luxembourg fund matters, in particular in the structuring and formation of alternative investment funds. She is the professional support lawyer of our team.
Natalja, who has been with the firm for more than 8 years and has also been seconded to our London office in the past, focuses on international finance transactions, including securitisation and structured finance matters involving Luxembourg alternative funds.

Tina has joined Loyens & Loeff nearly 8 years ago and focuses on various types of national and cross-border financial transactions, in particular in respect of real estate and secured lending transactions for funds and asset management firms.
Pierre-Antoine advises investment managers as well as investors on Luxembourg and international tax matters. He joined Loyens & Loeff more than 5 years ago and has spent some time at our London office. Pierre-Antoine regularly participates in the work of tax groups in industry-representative bodies such as AmCham and ALFI.
Marc Meyers, head of the Luxembourg investment management team, comments as follows on those appointments:
“I am particularly proud of those appointments since they confirm two key elements of the DNA of our team: internal promotions and cross-disciplinary work. They are also in line with the firm’s strategy to capitalise further on the investment management pillar of the Luxembourg financial centre.
With this team of around 45 professionals, including 6 partners, the first multi-disciplinary investment management practice in the Luxembourg market, combining fund formation/regulatory, finance and tax capabilities, we are perfectly placed to continue to offer an unrivalled package of integrated services to our clients. Our focus on alternative strategies combined with our knowledge and experience as well as our strong team spirit provide the perfect basis for further growing our position as leading fund lawyers.”
