Trainee - Banking & Capital Markets department (3 to 6 month)

We are currently looking for a Legal Trainee (3 to 6 months) for our Banking & Capital Markets department with a view to long-term employment. (Un stagiaire en droit Bancaire et Financier)

Your Mission:

You will join our team to work as a trainee on various types of files providing legal advice to a wide range of international and multi-national clients, private equity houses, financial institutions and institutional clients. Your duties will include:

  • Advising clients on all matters relating to Banking and Finance, Equity and Debt Capital Markets, Securitisation and structured finance, including secured Lending, acquisition finance, asset finance, real estate finance, securities offerings (by way of private placements or public offerings), debt issuance programmes, financial collateral arrangements, listings and all related regulatory aspects;

  • Direct involvement in stimulating files which will allow you to discover and in turn apply the best technical methods in respect of international legal issues;

  • Participating in meetings and calls with clients

  • Drafting and negotiation of documentation; and

  • Completion of legal researches in Luxembourg, French and Belgian law.

The candidate should have:

  • A university degree in Law (Master I or Master II or an equivalent)

  • Excellent communication skills and be a team player

  • A good command of French and English

  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to adapt easily

  • Learning enthusiasm
