In order to support our growing team, we are currently looking for a:

Professional Support Lawyer (m/f)


Role

  • You will work closely with the lawyers and assist them in the drafting of deeds, corporate resolutions and contracts, as well as in the preparation of closings and post-closing matters.

  • You will participate in due diligences in M&A projects.

  • You will support and advise the lawyers with their legal research.

  • You will monitor changes in relevant law and practice, and keep the lawyers abreast of current market developments.

  • You will develop and update the Know How database, including collecting and reviewing documents from client transactions, drafting and translating templates.

  • You will manage key knowledge projects and initiatives.

  • You will provide academic and technical legal input for the preparation of articles, legal alerts, newsletters and other marketing materials.

  • You will organize legal training for fee earners and mentor young lawyers to ensure knowledge sharing.

  • You will be involved on client matters if desired.


Profile

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a lawyer, preferably in corporate, finance and private equity matters.

  • Experience in a similar position will be considered as an asset.

  • Law degree.

  • Excellent technical skills, including drafting and legal analysis.

  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

  • Strong communicator and team player, with the ability to form and maintain highly effective working relationships with all the team members.

  • Excellent organisational skills and proactivity, you have the drive to really make things happen.

We offer the option to work part time for this position.
