To support our Corporate Mainstream Group and to provide paralegal and administrative support to our lawyers and clients, we are currently looking for a:

Paralegal Mainstream Corporate (m/f)


Key Responsibilities and Challenges

  • Provide assistance to lawyers in the team as well as directly to clients in relation to corporate secretarial steps and actions

  • Drafting minutes for management and shareholders meetings of the clients’ Luxembourg entities

  • Drafting powers of attorney and proxies for clients and any of their representatives to be represented in board meetings or shareholders meetings of Luxembourg entities 

  • Drafting standard corporate notarial or private deeds in respect to incorporation of Luxembourg entities, change of articles and capital increase/decrease

  • Arrange for any publications and registrations and extracts from Luxembourg public registers

  • Provide assistance in closings, arrange for documents to be executed and for transaction/restructuring bibles

  • Updating precedents and notify the fee earners of any required changes in those precedents

  • Assist and provide best practice guidance to fellow paralegals and support lawyers.

 

Qualifications and Skills required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or an equivalent university degree

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position in Luxembourg

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French, German and/or Luxembourgish would be an asset

  • Excellent attention to detail, technical legal skills and a sound understanding of legal market

  • Good business acumen

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills

  • Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills

  • Enthusiastic and resilient with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise

  • Approachable and willing to learn new skills and take on responsibility

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Good team player but capable to work independently when necessary 

  • Appreciative of the culturally diverse environment in which the firm operates.
