As a result of the continuous increase of our activities, we are currently looking for a:

Legal & Data Protection Analyst

Based in Hamm


Within a Business Services of 20 employees, composed of Compliance Analysts, you will work closely with the Compliance Manager / DPO and collaborate with the General Counsel.

Your role: 

You will act as a self-reliant legal support and you will be in charge the below responsibilities:

  • To manage, improve and maintain the inhouse/external legal documentation;

  • To draft and handle various categories of agreements, product and service T&Cs, partnership agreements and SLAs, DPAs;

  • To draft and review data protection documentation, policies, procedures and GDPR clauses, contracts with service providers;

  • To update and maintain the Registers of Processing Activities;

  • To provide legal advice on data protection matters.

In addition, you will participate in concrete cross-functional projects in the collaboration with the General Counsel department:

  • To provide data protection awareness trainings in collaboration with the DPO;

  • To participate actively in the implementation of an updated contract database; 

  • To support the General Counsel and the team as needed and to support the company’s growing initiatives and leading various projects to devise efficient legal strategies.

Your profile: 

  • You hold a Law degree (Bachelor or LL.M.)– in particular, specializing in a field related to data protection;

  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a similar role which allow you to understand the challenges of an internal organization;

  • You have a fair knowledge of technical services agreements, terms and conditions, service level agreements, DPAs and other relevant legal document drafting and negotiation;

  • You have a thorough understanding of European data protection laws and regulations and awareness of their application in Luxembourg;

  • You have a perfect command of French and English, both spoken and written; 

  • You are recognized for your interpersonal skills and are used to naturally interact with stakeholders from various professions and communicate clearly and with empathy;

  • You are good team worker with a practical, solution-oriented approach;
