Job Description
CM Law is looking to add a talented Corporate Lawyer / Jurist to its team. In this position, your typical day will see you working on a wide range of client files, amongst which you will find international and local corporations, private equity houses, real estate investors, financial institutions … Under the supervision of the Partner in charge of the department, your main focus areas will be to:
Assist and advise clients on corporate and/or financial transactions (mergers & acquisitions, corporate reorganisations, joint ventures, security package with legal opinions, etc.) and, from time to time, on investment funds structuring, setting up and management
Draft and review agreements and transactional documents
Follow-up on client requests and take part in client meetings or conference calls
Develop relationships with clients and providers
Be part of a team and work in close cooperation with the other team members
Profile
We are looking for a lawyer who:
Has 1 to 7 years’ experience in the corporate practice areas, ideally in Luxembourg
Holds a Master’s degree (or similar degree) in law, ideally completed by a post-graduate degree
Has an excellent command of French and English, written and spoken. A good command of German or Luxembourgish is an advantage
Likes to take initiatives and is pro-active
Consistently delivers quality work and appreciate the taste of well done work
Is a good team player and, at the same time, capable to work autonomously
